Days Like This recalls the joy of her time in Japan during cherry blossom season in 2023 and life is looking bright once again. it's a song of gratitude and thankfulness for what she has in life right now rather than dwelling on what she has lost.
Merilyn also plays mandolin on this track which gives the song a pleasant acoustic twist and a very positive vibe.
